Stars of Joy, Stars of Hope Concert

 Last Sunday, I got to witness Ayala Malls' special offering this Christmas season: Stars of Joy, Stars of Hope concert, a fund-raising event wherein you would just need to donate any amount of money to get tickets to the show. The show features Isabella Gonzales, Billy Crawford, Piolo Pascual, Steps Dance Project, AMP Band, and Joanna Ampil. It is directed by Audie Gemora.

So, I waited for Ms. Joanna Ampil at the exit. She was the only reason why I watched the show. (LOL!) I was holding my camera and was trying to get a photo of her but look what I've got...

She has already passed but I shouted and asked for a photo. (how scandalous!) She agreed right away. She is very nice to come back at me. This is one reason why I like theatre people than mainstream actors.

Last hurrah for the summer! (Part 2)

On our last day at Poro Point, my brother and I rode the golf cart and we were toured around the whole Thunderbird Resort.

We went through the golf course even though we didn't play golf.

And so that's it! It was fun being at Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point, La Union. I hope to go back there. And I hope you go there too and share your experience with me!

The Largest Floating Book Fair In The World

I've been to Logos Hope last year when it was in Manila.

On the night that we were at Poro Point, Logos Hope (the largest floating book fair in the world) was there.

Last hurrah for the summer!

Actually, this isn't the last hurrah for my summer. I think it is just the first. It is because that the local elections here in the Philippines just finished (that is why I seldom or I didn't totally blogged during that period) and I had summer review classes, which ended last week, for the upcoming college entrance tests.

My family and I decided to go to Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point which is located at the Poro Point Special Economic and Freeport Zone, San Fernando, La Union.

 We arrived earlier than the check-in time so we waited for so long. We then decided to eat lunch at Olives.
